The short version

  • We keep only what the site needs to work: a parent's e-mail, the names or nicknames the parent gives for their children, and the results of the games they play.
  • Children never give us anything: they have no account, no e-mail and no password, and play on a parent's signed-in device.
  • No ads, no selling or sharing of data, no advertising trackers.
  • You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

What we keep

Parents: your e-mail address (to send sign-in links and anything about your membership), your plan, and when you signed up and last signed in.

Children: a first name or nickname and, if you choose, a grade, entered by you. On plans that show progress, when your child plays a members game we keep the date, the game and which words were read, to show you their progress. On other plans we keep no play data.

Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. Stripe tells us your plan and whether a payment went through. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

Contact form: what you write to us, with your name and e-mail, so we can reply.

Cookies

Two small cookies, only so the site works: one keeps you signed in, one protects our forms from forgery. Game settings (like the card colors you picked) are saved in your browser only.

Children's privacy

The site is for parents and the children they practice with. We do not ask children for personal information and do not let them contact anyone through the site. A parent can see, change or delete their children's names and progress from their account, or ask us to delete everything.

Deleting your data

Removing a child from your account deletes their progress too. To delete your whole account, use Delete account on your account page: it removes everything at once (records Stripe must keep for tax and accounting stay with Stripe). Or contact us.
